Go into your kitchen and get your trusty non-sharp butter knife to use as a leveraging tool. Place the blade flat side up under the left side of the key you want to remove.

Once you’ve heard the clips being released, you will now be able to lift the left side of the keycap up. The keycap is now hinged on a plastic rod that spans the right side the the plastic key switch allowing good access to the underneath of the keycap. To remove the keycap, just pull it upwards to release it from the hinge.

If you need to remove the key switch place your index finger and your thumb on either side of the right key switch legs and gently squeeze inwards until the clips are released from the metal loops. Then move onto the left side of the metal key switch and do the same procedure to fully remove the key switch from the keyboard.
To replace the key, just reverse the procedure, start with attaching the key switch to the keyboard, then clip the right side of the keycap onto the plastic rod to create the hinge. Using your finger press down on the top of the keycap. You will hear a click as the left clips are attached and you’re done.
